An award-winning author and filmmaker, Jacob holds a Bachelor of Arts in
film production from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara
and a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from the University of
Southern Maine. His work has won numerous awards, including Best Film
Noir at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival,
and his early film Valhalla was a finalist for the Student Academy Awards. Jacob has
guest-lectured on the craft of filmmaking in Seattle, Los Angeles,
Fargo, Maine and elsewhere.
